97 s-10 bearing replacement
I've got a 97 S-10 4.3(4 wheel drive, 4 door) that needs to have the bearings replaced(rod and mains). If I go this route has anybody heard of the rings sticking or breaking on the carbon ridge after new bearings have been installed. Also, is this job really worth the time---just getting the oil pan off is time consuming. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: 97 s-10 bearing replacement
if the motor has high miles on it you would be better off getting a rebuild.
