Condenser fan won't shut off
Hello all. My condenser fan won't stop running...pulled the fuse to get it to stop last night. Today, put the fuse back in and it started to run again. Is this a bad relay or what? If the relay, where do I find it? Help!!

Re: Condenser fan won't shut off
I suppose it might be the relay. On my '93, it (and its sister - the one that operates the cooling fan) is located in a clip against the engine compartment left side (by the cruise vacuum actuator).

it could be the relay or the sensor which sends the signal to the fan indicating the ac is on.

Re: Condenser fan won't shut off
The "sensor" you refer to is just part of the A/C on/off switch, I think (and according to my wiring diagram). I'd still lean towards a relay problem.

Re: Condenser fan won't shut off
I understand, but mentioning a possible sensor problem raises the obvious next question - "where is the sensor?"
Hence my response |
