a/c problem

A few days ago i installed a cd player in my 1992 saturn sl2 and then somehow the ac stopped working. I checked all the cables in the dashboard and they all seem to be fine. I replaced the ac fuse and still doesn't work. When i turn on the ac, the button lights up but it still blows warm air. My problem is that the cooling fan does not want work without the a/c. Any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem?

im not sure what youre asking, but you need to check if the ac compressor is engaged when you turn the ac on. if it is then you need to get a manifold gague on the ac system to test pressuers. if its not engaged then you are either low on freon or have an electrical problem.
