Retrieveing ECM Codes

Can somebody tell me what pins have to be shorted to retrieve the trouble codes from the ECM?

dude, you need a scanner. if your car is 1996 or newer you cont do it that way. i dont even think the older saturns will flash codes.

im against the idea of this, but you could just take your car to autozone to get the codes read

Re: Retrieveing ECM Codes

The easiest way to read the codes is to buy the cheapest ODB-II scanner you can find then buy a chilton or haynes manual for your car. They should list all the trouble codes for your car. I did it and spent only 70 bucks and I know I'll never get screwed.
