good idea.. would you happen to know of any places in jersey or where i can search to find ones that i can possibly get for free? i know its far fetched but some kid on here said he got one for free cause it didnt work and the guy said just take it if you think you can get it going. Now he had money to spend as if he bought it, to send out and get a nice custom TT engine for it for like 7k maybe 10 all together if he wants it 600hp and a new trans to handle it. ....I WISH

Re: junkyards

I've seen two Zed's (Z32's) in junkyards...

A black Twin Turbo I got a bunch of parts off of.

And a dark Marroon '92 Non-Turbo.

Re: junkyards

The Twin Turbo was SEVERELY wrecked in the back... The car was almost just a front clip. The powertrain was gone, interior was gone, headlights... Gone. Only things left were what I took. Front fascia, fender (I only took one of them) centerpeice and hood (I didnt take the hood). And Suspension.

The maroon Zed was actually in great condition... Had a blown Slushbox (Automatic transmission), and that was it. They wanted a ridiculous amount though. $5,200, BAH.

There weren't that many Z32s made in relation to other cars and so what is available wrecked is usually snapped up pretty quick.

Speaking of which, having that I have found a new engine for my car, my old one has many parts that are still good or have been recently replaced.

Water pump, oil pump, turbos (.54 housing since the engine was out of an auto but they were replaced 15k ago during an engine rebuild, the stock turbos on the new engine are getting replaced by 530BBs and only have 20k on them) alternator, AC compressor etc and so on...

Some parts might have to wait until I get the new engine in, see what I need before I sell them.
