Can you say disgruntled?

A guy from a small town in Colorado, Granby, took a bulldozer, armored it with "two sheets of half-inch steel with a layer of concrete between them", and bulldozed 13 buildings last Friday. Its kinda freaky, because Ive been to Granby a bunch of times, and I know most of the places he hit.

Apparently, the guy was pissed at the city for having too high taxes on his hardware store. The whole thing lasted for like an hour and a half, after which it broke, and stopped inside a building. It took the cops a couple of days to get into it. The guy had killed himself (wouldnt you?)

Needless to say, that doesnt happen very often, so I thought I'd post it. Pretty crazy stuff.

Here's a full article from our local paper:

And heres a couple of pics:

I live just south of Denver...

Re: Can you say disgruntled?

And all this during a steel shortage.....

You gotta wonder what was going on in his head to go to that extreme, and what's going on in that town that nobody noticed he was up to something/
That's not a 5 minute job on that platework he's done there, nobody noticed him buying up heavy gauge steel in the current steel market?

Heck, we're struggling to get material to meet production demand here.

I agree with that. The article even said that someone had noticed him putting the plates on the dozer. Why would you be ARMORING a bulldozer?!? I would've been suspicious after I saw that alone.

Re: Can you say disgruntled?

If I saw someone armoring a bulldozer I think I would be just a little suspicious.

Sounds like the guy just needed to have a few beers with his buddies. Oh well, just Darwinism in it's finest hour.
