Another won't start thread...

except its not my car. It is a car that I am going to buy from my friend.

After reading a few other threads, I will check out main relay. I live in Minnesota so I don't think heat is the problem.

Anyway he bought a new starter for it. He says he can't get the old one off... like it is fused in. Are there any "tricks" for taking out old starters on these?

btw first post.

the starter bolts are out? if so then just bump the starter with the bolts out and it should free it from the fly.
