A GSX would out perform a lot of cars but you might have a problem finding one.

Joemathews, I couldn't help but noticing in your sig how much better your car looks with the wheels! I love them! Great buy! =)
A celica and a GSX? Pfft, the GSX would probably be cheaper, depending on what year you're thinking of getting. Also, the GSX would undoubtedly out perform any car you would buy stock for stock. Not to mention you would get much more out of the simple upgrades like exhaust and intake on the GSX! Get a GSX!!

What do you think the answer is going to be when asking this question in the Eclipse forum?
IMO the GSX is a superior car in every facet. While the Celica is competent, it lacks the guts and the styling of the Eclipse.

umm.... yes Eclipse GSX is a good car. Celica is not (as good).
Its as simple as that.

yea get the gsx. toyota does good economy cars decent trucks crappy sports cars. but the 2000+ celica looks hot. do you want the car for speed? looks? do you want to mod it or keep it stock? all things to keep in mind

95-99 celicas are beautiful, but most of them are slow. Celica GT-four is a kick-ass turbo car with 250hp stock, but im sure it lacks high power potential like a GSX. They should both be equal for modding up to 300hp i'd assume. Both reliable companies, but I doubt you'll find a GT-four around.
