Aussie Muscle

G'day guys,

Newbie here, great place to visit.

To see the roots of the GTO go to www.hsv.com.au

I would have thought the car would have been modified more for the US market. I have been a little disappointed in the photo's I've seen of the GTO, but I got too see one in the flesh here in Australia, because they're built here in my home town of Melbourne. They sound great. Better than the Monaro.

This is how the Aussie version shapes up. I really like the treatment.

Really, a Ford man myself. Ford Australia also have a high performance arm. www.fpv.com.au

This is a Ford Falcon GT 5.4 litre ohc 290kw ?hp

Aussie Muscle lives.

By the way, there is a Monaro all wheel drive coming out in 04' here. Don't know if it will make it's way to the US.

Cheers

That Yellow car is the GTS, not the GTO. But, in any case, GTS>GTO. The US needs moar GTS and AWD coupe. I wish GM would just convert it to LHD.....................
