Over Moderated

Well SDU, and Kiwi's. It looks as though one of our own has decided that we over post to his liking in any of the Kiwi started topics or threads. Too bad as I though AF would have been different. What I thought was a single thing has turned into one of personal dislikes.

When I first came to AF I watched for quite a while, to see how these forums are moderated. While the vast majority seem to take things at face value and let a thread go until it goes off topic for a bit, one seems to think it is his personal personal objectives to set a max post allowance. Shame.

A suggestion here and this lets leave off topic and go. The SDU forums are back up and running hence no reason to have to be over moderated outside of our circle.

Thank you Igor for the wonderful time. Thank you for allowing us a place to come to and still communitcate and have a bit of fun. For me the fun ends tonight in AF as far as Off topic and possibly AF in general. Moppie has seen to that. That is a shame it really is, that it has to come to this. Maybe one day he will relent but until then I, personally, will find forum time else where.

I have had a great pleasure being part of AF.

someone whom Vince has pointed has ruined, the fun and games we have in the AF forums....so we are packing our bags and heading back to the SDU forums where everyone knows you name and they are always glad you came!!

i would personally like to say a big thank you for spoiling a damn fine forum:finger:

I had no idea he was doing that. I also am not going to get into a flame war in open. I have nothing to say to Moppie, as his actions recently have said more than enough.

If I do not return any pm's then I have been banned, and that would not suprise me right now.

read the last post he made in the Its Kiwi time and Perkynana's threads which he closed. You will then understand what I am talking about.

In his signature it says "------Kiwi Crew Overlord------ " Well he is not my over lord, Igor is as Igor runs the forums, but relies on his moderators to keep things simple for him.

I'm disappointed you take it so personally guys,hope to see you around again soon.This is one of the better forums around,and it's mostly good thanks to the efforts of the mods.Now if you are going to quit because you have had a disappointing day from one of the mods that's your option,but those of us who stay will miss you.As to getting banned,I've never seen anyone banned for disagreeing (in a civilised manner) with a mod.Perhaps you should PM the man and sort this out before making rash decisions.Either way,it's been good having you around and I for one would rather you stay.

This is a real shame that this has happened and its come to this.
Razor, you need to sort it out with Moppie by PM's.

It will be sad to see people leave such a good place because of this.

I actually enjoy all the Kiwi (Over Down Under Country) posting. They are my favourite (favorite).

Some people have a lot of time on their hands and post a lot...so what? Who cares? The only person who should have a say-so on post volume is the person who is paying the bill. I hear all this crap about "stop wasting the bandwidth, blah, blah, blah" -like they are paying anything?. Shaddup already! Let the Kiwis do as they please. They aren't ganging up on anybody. I say worry about ya damn self. Did ya brush your teeth today? Did you take out the garbage (rubbish)? Did you return the movie to Blockbuster on time? That's stuff you worry about. Not how many posts a person has in a day and closing a thread down the INSTANT it goes off topic. And Mods always use the old standby, " I have received complaints.." Yeah, from who? The ghost of Christmas Past? Your inner child? The brown noser with 1,680 posts? And all the "I'm telling Igor!" crap needs to stop. This is not 5th grade.

People are grown. Unless stuff in here gets derogatory or just plain stupid I do not see the harm. That is my 2 cents.

I hate to see everyone leave just because a couple threads were closed.

But guessing by the sudden tension, I'm gonna take it that I don't have a snowball's chance in NZ of keeping people here... Best of Luck, and we hope to see you back here soon!

I've left AF pretty much too......... i still post occasionaly but barely anymore

I just don't enjoy it much anymore, seems like everyones out to get me, especially moppie...... i can't say one thing without him making some stupid ass comment

everybody is still cool, there are just a couple people that ruin it
