damn rims.....

i can't find any rims for my car all i can find is the stock ones replicated in chrome the rims store around here told me that no one makes rims for my iroc because of the 2 different offsets (whatever the fuck that means) but the company will make the replica ones how ever big i want so i can get like 16X6 in the front and 16X10 in the back like i want but i dunno about the chrome.......mabye i should see if the company will just make em hyper silver

i was looking at a set of IROC rims in a pawn shop one time, and the bastard wanted $1100 w/tires
you'll need quite an offset on the 16X10's if you want em to fit in your wheel wells

if your only using them at the track, just buy a set of plain jane's from summit or jegs for $25 a rim.

Re: damn rims.....

um..... plenty of people make the rims for third gens, that guy is a moron. find another american racing wheels dealer, they will be able to hook you up, im looking at a set of torque thrust II's myself. also, with a spacer from www.fbodymotorsports.com, you can put fourth gen camaro, and C5 vette rims on the third gen, although with the vette rims, you have to get the 17in wheels all the way around, the 18's wont fit.

Re: damn rims.....

The reason the place mentioned 2 different offsets probably was because the front and rear wheels have different offsets and cant be switched back and forth. For my style anyways.

Check out ebay theres always iroc wheels for sale on there. I think www.performancewheeloutlet.com sells them to.

Re: damn rims.....

yeah the stock rims are front and rear specific. also, the tires are staggard, the front wheels are not in line with the rear wheels, anyone else ever noticed this? the front tires are 1.5in (est) farther to the left than the rears, IROCs were made to take left turns
