Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
I Have a 99 civic coupe and just aquired a set of 19" rims all good.
they look awesome! but I can only get half lock on my steering before they catch on the inner arch. Anyone know where I can get some longer wheel bolts and spacers from so the wheels come out to the edge of my widearch kit?

Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
19's are just too big for a Civic. If you must, you will most likely also need to modify the fenders. It's just too big of a pain, plus in my opinion it looks rediculous.

Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
You can use spacers up to a point. I recommend 7-8 full turns of your lugs for proper engagement. Anything less and you could work the lugs loose = BAD!
I use a 3mm spacer for some of my wheels. Just make sure you check the torque on your lugs once in awhile. Also you will not pass inspection using spacers.

Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
i have 18x7.5 on my 2000 Civic EX and the rear tends to rub the inner part of my wheel well when i hit small potholes/hills on the road....im from NY, so the roads are shitty. they dont rub all the time, but they rub the most when i have weight/people in the back. i no longer ride anyone in my car except for the passanger that sits in the front. i see you guys talking bout spacers, and have one question, would i need spacers on all four wheels, or can i just get a pari for the rear?? also, anyone have any recommendations on which spacers to buy, or does it even matter? i know they come in different sizes, so what size would one recommemd for me??...i dont want the tires to stick out too much either. hopa ya can help.

Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
19's fit on the front with only a quarter turn lost and the rear loves them. The fenders did have to be rolled but that is little problem. I need an extra inch of arch fillage though! If I cant use spacers what can I do?

Re: Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
They do come in different sizes. I run 3mm spacers since my 15x7" 45mm offset wheels were hitting the rear upper control arm. Now I have 38mm offset and the tires are now hitting the fenderliners.
You would prolly want 1-2mm spacers - that's about all you could prolly use. Mike Quote:

Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
Right I may be able to get some wheels that are custom fit. Does the hub move toward the outside or inside as the offset figure increases??

Re: Help I Need Wheel Spacers!!
Higher number wheels more under the fenders. Lower number the wheels move outwards.
