Saleen Mustangs used to be really cool . . . what happened?

Did the supercar become priority?

If you mean the S7, that is the new Saleen.

Yeah the S7 . . .

Did that car become the priority focus of Saleen?

I miss seeing some of the hopped up Stangs the Saleen put out.

They are cool, and will always be I guess . . . I just widh there were some fresh (new) examples of their Mustang handy-work, ya know?

have you seen some of the hopped up stangs they are puttin out?
like an s351... 490hp... hmmm.... that is badass...
they arent seen as much because alot of mags focus on tuners, and saleen is a small manufacturere...
the cars are definitely badass though...

Yep, Saleen's cool . . . I'd definately like to have a Saleen in the stable . . .

Anybody ever hear of a Mustang tuner called "Steeda" . . . could just be phony, but there's this guy I see in my neighborhood with a white 'stang, not the new body style, the previous one, and it's got a windshield banner that says "Steeda", with some VERY mild graphics . . . it sounds loud and schitt . . . maybe he's just posin . . .

Steeda must be his nickname . . . lol . . .

Talking

Thanks LK,

I've never heard the name before . . . Ironically, I saw the car in question a few evenings ago . . . the windshield banner was removed but I looked more closely at the car itself . . . it bears a badge boasting a 4.6 liter engine . . .

Ring any bells?

You saw a steeda or a Saleen the other evening?

If it's a 4.6 Saleen then it's the S281, correct?

4.6 is the displacement of the regular Mustang engine so theres no clue there to whether this is a real Steeda.

The only real body differences in Steeda/stock are the hood and the spoiler, right?

steeda is just like saleen...
they have hoods and body kits and wheels... just like saleen...
they do exh and all that, not much different...
and if we are talkin stang tuners, why not throw in roush, since they do the kits all crazy too...
or kenne bell, who goes with a sleeper look and throws in the blower....

Or Kenny Brown.
I think my favorite 'stang tuner is Roush. Great stuff, and I see there cars as less "ricey" than others, in that their body kits and stuff are more tasteful (calf-burners, for example)
