help with amp
i have a 12" Alpine type R sub it pushes 300rms@4ohms what amp should i get for it. My budget is around $200

speakers don't push power (watts), they handle or accept them. I would say any amp that can provide at least 300 watts inyo a 4 ohn load

Yep - 300W RMS @ 4 ohms (likely around 600W peak)...
A Profile CA-600M will get you there for around $120 An Alpine MRP-M350 will be give only 200W RMS @ 4 ohms but keeps you around $200 I'm sure the other guys have ideas... |

Pioneer is a no no IMO. Profile is not to bad. Not that pioneer doesn't make good sound, just it doesn't put out the rated power.
