How about a bad TPS sensor that causes braking problems?

OK,

I have all new,

brakes,
rotors and drums and master,

but this cougar just wont stop on the highway.

When I do lets say 68mph on the highway, when I take my foot off the gas and apply the brake, the REAR SHAKES...... and the car just feels like it wont stop.

In my opinion the RPM's do not come down fast enough. It feels like I am trying to stop the car on the highway with both of my feet on the gas and brake peddle.

Engine is solid. Idle is perfect as well.

I had an 86 LTD once before with 5.0 and similiar problem and they changed the throttle position sensor, but that car would idle high in park.

My cougar idles and shifts perfectly.

Do you guys think that I might be on to something when I say the Engine RPM speed on the highway is not coming down fast enough? Hence the vibration in rear when trying to brake at highway speed.

I am thinking either electronic sensors or transmission problem.
