Sealing Doors?

i have 6.25 speakers in the doors. Does sealing the doors up actauly help, and if so, how do you go about doing it

i guess it might what most people do when they put speakers in the doors are just add sound deaden material such as dynamat to the door as well so it doesnt rattle as much, but as for sealing the door, seems kinda excessive for a 6.25

most door speakers are termed free air ..... what you really need to do is seal up any leaks just around the speaker.
