89 astro problem

I was travelling down the road when my Astro quit running. Before that I had had problems with it acting like it was hesitating, I would accelerate and it would sputter and then catch again. I had the same problem about a year and a half ago and the fuel pump was replaced. Do you think it might be the fuel pump again? Any other information that I could provide to help get an answer. Also I would like to know approximately the price it would take to get the fuel pump replaced. Thank you.

I would check the fuel filter first. The fuel pump could be bad of course, but it should last longer than a year and a half.
