Talking Weekend Fun!

So i was driving to my buddie's cabin for the weekend, me and a few others in a 'train' cruisin down the highway. Me in the ol' boat, a friend in his Suzuki Swift Turbo, and a couple girlfriends in a BMW 3 series sedan. We came across some fun vehicles:

1. 50's Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing (i believe that's the name)

That was cool to see, but the guy wouldn't do anything other then wave to us.

2. Jaguar type E

Not interested either, stupid stuck up people in fun cars....

3. Late 70s Corvette t-top...in bright red being driven by a girl who looked like a blonde Jennifer Love Hewitt. Don't see that everyday!

4. Pontiac GTO convertible...don't know the year. He smiled, floored it, pulled ahead and took the next exit. No time to play with that guy, but cool to see the car move.

So anyways, we're rolling along after all this, and a bright yellow Tiburon ('04, was V6) slowing starts passing us. I called my buddy in the Suzuki and he was thinking the same as me. He called the girls in the Bimmer and it was on.

As soon as he passed us all (125km/h or so, we were around 110-115) we all floored it and went cruising by him at 140. I guess he figured out what was going on cuz he put his foot into it and caught up.

From this point on i lost track of how fast we were going as my speedomoter only goes to 150km/h.

So he catches up, and starts to pull ahead. Me in the lead, i put my foot to the floor to pace him, which i did for a minute, but he slowly started to pull away.

At this point, the bimmer went zipping by me and caught up to him, with Chad in the Suzuki not far behind. From there, we more or less played cat and mouse through the traffic until our exit came...traffic got a bit thick. I only know we were going 150+ at this point, very exciting!! As we exited the highway, we all tossed out the thumbs up and drove happily on our way.

Christy (Bimmer driver) said she hit 175 or so at one point...must've been when she passed me...

Not really a race, but fun none the less.

Hmmm...let's see, where to start with you....

1. 22mph = 37km/h 175km/h = 105mph

It's not smart to quit school

2. If you're interested in REALLY calling me a shithead, you ought to get to know me before you make assumptions.

3. transamcambamwam =

Go back to summer school and quit disturbing the peace.

Now that that's over and done with, it was great beefcake.
