Just installed a new Stereo, dash lights and dimmer do not work now
I have a '93 Talon and I replaced the stock radio/cassette reciever with a CD player. The CD player works excellent; however, I noticed that when I was installing it, I had no idea what to do with the Light Dimmer and Headlight Illumination wires, so I just grounded them. Apparently, that wasn't the right thing to do. Everything works fine EXCEPT for my darn dash lights (when I turn on the headlights) and my dimmer control. Help, please? What do I do with these two wires? For reference, the Light Dimmer Wire is Black with yellow stripe and the headlight illumination wire is Green with white stripe.
Thanks! |

Hmm, nevermind, I figured it out. I taped the wires up and replaced the tail-light fuse. Everything works great now.
