My driver side power window (front) does not work, but all the others do. I had been dealing with a fuel issue and replaced the fuel pump fuse... and when I got the car running the front driver side window didn't work. It appears the fuse must be okay because of the other windows working, but I can't imagine what else it would be since it was just working yesterday before I replaced the fuel pump fuse. One thing after the other. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Re: Power Window - Driver side not working
Thank you! After opening the sunroof this afternoon, the driver's side window miraculously opened. Go figure.

Hi, JSean-
I've got a 1985 535i. I had a whole bunch of migrating electrical problems. I got really tired of them, so I bought about 50 fuses on ebay ($10 for all of them) and replaced every last one of them. Turns out some of the fuses can look fine, and still be crap. Flunky PS-Haven't had any mysterious electrical problems since! |

Re: Power Window - Driver side not working
YES, the later 'ATO' style fuses can 'look' ok and still be open which is why a volt test at the fuse is only the first check in the circuit, the next step is right at the circuit's load [component power terminal]
