rt4wd wagon problems

OK the other day i bought a 1990 rt4wd wagon. The motor has been rebuilt. The head has been ported and polished according to the old owner. The car is in mint condition. The head gasket blew on it and he added pour in fix-a-gasket which in return destroyed the motor causeing the rebuild. SO HERE ARE MY FEW PROBLEMS ON MY REBUILT MOTOR

1.The car is throwing 2 codes. Code 1 oxygen content and code 20 electrical load.

The check engine light does not come on until the car is warm.

2. Some times when at idle the car drops revs and shuts off on occasion.

3. Also my cars makes a wierd rubbing/grinding niose from the engine area. It sounds like the alternator or maybe the a/c compresser?

Any and all help would be awesome

thanx alot

the oxygen content one is just ur 02 sensor, its prolly bad so i'd replace it, the electrical load one i've been battleing with for the past year trying to figure out, i dont think anyone knows on here, but it doesnt do anything really, my car seems fine when i drive it

Re: rt4wd wagon problems

The idle problems sounds like it has something to dow ith vacuum. Look for any loose vacuum lines on the intake manifold and there are a few on the top of the fire wall.
