It's time to say goodbye to my EF...

After doing an inspection of my car last Saturday I found a new rust hole in my rocker panel not to mention each 1/4 panel has holes through it so you can see to the inside of the car. It's basically dying of cancer and it's time to set the old girl out to pasture. I'm not selling it I'm stripping it to bare bones and selling everything off of it. I can't sell anything I need to keep it driveable/legal just yet but right now I have this stuff for sale...

-Neuspeed Front strut bar for $60 + shipping.
-Autopower 4pt roll bar for $150, will not ship, pick up only. (I love in Timonium, Maryland)
-Suspension Techniques 22mm rear sway bar for probably $70 + shipping.
-Neuspeed lower rear tie bar for $50 + shipping.
-Cusco front tie bar for $50 + shipping.

I will be selling anything listed on www.fourthgenhatch.com I have under mods eventually so if you want to throw in an offer once I sell the stuff I will give you the option first.

What are you going to do? You can't not drive a 4G.

Please don't get rid of your website though!

(either that, or see if you can get Ami to host some of your how-to's). I've always found it very usefull...

Sorry to hear about your car though... I am not looking forward to that at all, but I know it's inevitable.

Re: It's time to say goodbye to my EF...

I'm not leaving the Honda community I'm going to be getting a 96-00 Civic Hatchback and pretty much do that up right the 2nd time using all I learned from working on my 4G and use it to make a nice 6G.

As for the website I'm keeping it around but will probably just add some how-tos for EK content as well whenever I do something to that.

As for what I'm selling being pricey I already have people who are interested in everything, the prices are 1/2 of what market value are for new parts and all my stuff is in good shape. I just thought I would let you guys know what was going on and give you a chance to get some stuff off it.

Re: It's time to say goodbye to my EF...

Here is a little update. Upon thinking about this I think I'm going to keep the EF around to make back to stock just as a beater. So its not going to the graveyard like I had thought before. All the stuff will still be for sale.

I still have the auto power roll bar I just took out today and that is $150, and the ST rear sway bar is $70. Everything else has been sold. But if you guys want to look on my website and see something you want off it let me know and I can "reserve" that for you. Also if you have stock parts your willing to give me that could speed that process up.

Re: It's time to say goodbye to my EF...

Yeah I had a hell of a time getting it out of my car without taking out the seats (cuz I'm lazy). Its definitely awkward and not worth shipping.

Re: It's time to say goodbye to my EF...

I'm getting an EK Civic. If I was getting a new 4G I would have just swapped everything over. But here in the rust belt finding a mint EF is nearly impossible or the price of them is way more than anyone should pay. I feel EK was probably the better choice as it was the Civic at it's peak.
