Lingenfelter Question???
Ok, nobody wanted ot answer me in the Vette Forum, but I know you guys will know... so the 427TT goes 0-60 in under 2 secs, 1/4 mile touching 8 (8.95) and top speed of 230mph. And it comes w/ a two-year warranty. Anyway, as far as I thought it acheived all this w/ a/c, street tires, and on pump gas. What's the deal w/ it? Am I mistaken?

Something with that much power, there is no way it is running thoes kind of times with plain jane street tires. Just do the math, but on pump gas and AC, Yea I can see that

Ok, not street, but DOT approved Drag Radials, it's still in STREET from then... but this is what I am asking, is the 8.95 in Street form, I'm pretty sure it is

I'd believe it. Ronnie Duke is an SLP dealer here in Michigan so when I went to pick up a part, we got talking about his cars. His Trans Am holds the record for the fastest LS1 powered car, his record is a 8.52 @ 163 mph. The car still is still in street form, full dash, hell he even left the stereo system in it. Its also a twin turbo so I have no doubt Lingenfelter's can run that. Yet more proof about those damn spooly things. Check it out. http://www.web-pace.com/ls1.htm

Re: Lingenfelter Question???
yes, it was tested by motortrend, if i remember correctly the 0-60 was 1.9seconds, 1/4 mile was 9.4 with their driver at 147mph, their driver said that hitting it from a standing start was like being rear ended by a dump truck. that car is the embodyment of my wet dream. now if only i could put that engine and drivetrain in my RS
