Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
okay first off, call me a ricer all u want, i dont care, im asian... yea, i've been looking at the BLUE LED City Lights which go into your headlights, but i can't find any information on them anywhere, basically they just make your headlights glow blue, and you can put them in your tail lights if you want, but i was wondering which bulb these lights replace if they replace one at all, if they do replace one i was wonder if any one had any ideas for creating a mounting kid for it and how i would go about wiring it. Then if it replaces a bulb or if it does actually just mount in i was wondering what kind of switch that would be used to toggle them on and off. I know i can get the switches from radioshack, just not sure which would get the job dun, and would it blow the bulb if when i turned it on the power went straight to the led or would it be fine? Yea the reason i need a switch for them is because blue in headlights in my state are unfortantly illegal
oh yea, heres the link for them if you want to see what they look like and read em your self, the ones in the link are green http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...481319287&rd=1 if u wanna check it out if u dont know what im talking about

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
You could use your foglight switch to run both. The LED's from Lite-glow are made in the USA , plus there on limo's and what not so I think there fine on GA's.

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
thanks for the info
so do u know if they mount? do they just like adheisivly stick inside the headlite? replace a bulb? or ? i dunno... i think ima just make a 2nd switch for them, thus i can still have my fog lights on and not get pulled over

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
yes its for the underbody , the headlight ones should come with a controller otherwise that would be stupid of that company in my oppinion.

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
heh, i dont think they come with a controller they only 12.99 and after looking at them more closely i believe they just mount somewhere inside of the headlight, then the wires run threw one of the existing wholes, i guess its off to radioshack to create my own
oh well, gotta make a swithc to turn off the license plate light also, so eh. Wait a second if they have no controller then they are always on? man i feel bad for the kids that get these and dont get switches, there goes all they're battery

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
its not hard , just use a empty fuse holder , it will turn off when they turn the car off.

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
so hold on, your saying if a just basically take like an inline fuse holder, and dont put a fuse in it, it will only run when the cars on?

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
you can still have a toggle switch so you have the option of turning it off when your driving too.

Re: Blue glowing Headlight toggle+mounting?
yea, lol, so i have to basically take all the wires of the LED's for the headlights and have them an extra 2-3 foot so they reach to my control panel of toggle switches that will be located some where on or in my dash... then run all those wires back to my trunk where my battery is. same with my underbody neons once i get them ( just used buy it now on ebay
) have those run to my trunk also, prolly going to have to go from my engine bay, threw a pedal then underthe carpet or paneling to the trunk i guess.... cuz im using 2 batteries (subs and neons on the rear, everything else one the front) but yea...
