Some girl hurt my baby last night...

Last night around 11:00 PM i was driving to in-n-out with one of my buddies. we came to this intersection that has green arrows for turning left, and green lights for going straight. I had never been to that intersection before so i did not know if i had the right away or not. i slowed down and almost came to a stop, when my friend, who is local to that area, showed me i had the right away, i started to turn left when "Holy Crap!" this dodge neon comes through the intersection and we hit. My car got a fat dent in the hood and some deep scratches in the bumper. the girl's neon was F***ed up. she got out of the car, screaming that she was f***ed because it was a rent-a-car that she wasnt registered under. The cops came and started to file a report. There was one witness who said she was neutral because she didnt pay enough attention to see who had the right away. So now its me and my buddies word against this girl who wasn't even supposed to be driving the car. I am so pissed right now. I am still within my six-month rule for my license and now i can only drive my car to and from work for the next 4 months. that means no more fun drives

. i was wondering if anyone had any good tips to say to the insurance company to make me sound good. i know i had the right away but then again it's my word against hers and she is denying it.

not much you can do. whats on the police report will end up being on the insurance report, your still going to have that on your record regardless of fault. there isn't anything you can say that will make it better to the insurance company. that sucks

By the way, does anyone have any idea how much it might be to replace the air bags???

and you paid a big price for it my friend! yeah.. as long as there is police presence or even the other party report it to their insurance company. it'l count as one accident no matter who's fault. just be honest to the police, whatever you do just DON"T LIE. 95% of the time the testmonial will speak for itself.

If you are not at fault it is not a point on your record...

as far as i know.. as long as there's a colission and it's reported.. it'll show up on your record in insurance company.

it will show up on your insurence record whether it was your fault or not. however it will only affect your driving record if you were at fault

er....unless there is alochol or other "mind-altering" substances at work. Then i think its exempt from that
