AWD tsi vs. turbo Del Sol and Neon Sxt

The other night my bro and I decided to go out on the bullevard and see who was out cruising it. Its about 9:30 and were driving down it and sure enough his friends turbo Del Sol pulls up beside us ( I had been talking to this kid about a week before at a track meet and he was telling me he ran 13's. He has a t3 turbo. He doesnt have a boost gauge and he said he thought he was pushing about 10 lbs. ) we both take off from a roll and you can here his turbo spool and his blow off valve but we pull on him. (My brothers best run was a 14.5 pushing 15 lbs of boost with a small 16g). The next light we didnt have time to launch and we still pull. We pulled into a movie theatre parking lot and talked about his Del Sol and a kid in a riced out Probe GT ( Neon, stock exhaust and engine, rims, bodykit, loud ass bass ) and a secong Probe GT with an exhaust pull in. We sat and talked till 10:00 when the po po show up and tell us to leave . So we do and about 5 min from our house we pull up to a red light by a guy in his neon (hand at 12 o'clock, bandana, rap music blasting on his stock speakers with no woofer, girlfriend in passager seat) So we rev a little and get no response. Low and behold the light turns green and homboi takes off. So with no launch we take off after him and by the top of 1st gear were at his passager door. My brother missed second which gave the neon half a car length. Pissed as hell my brother slams it into second, floors it and the shift into third were dead even. We continued to accelerate untill 105 and where the neon was no longer visible . Neither were real races but non the less, fun. I would have liked to see the del sol run and us get a good launch. As for the neon... that just shows you again that they are slow. It was a fun night and just figured i share the story's with you.
