91 cavalier 2.2liter tranmission question
I need to know what hose or connection hooks unto the tranny nipple that is by the driver's side firewall right behind the cable. All I see is a nipple and there was a hose going to it. Does anyone know where it goes and can you post a pic?
thanks aric |

If this is a 4 cylinder then you have only 3 hoses on on the tranny. 2 go to the radiator for the tranny cooler. The other one is a vent tube and will attach to a open ended tube that ends near the top of the fender. If the tube is missing just run some rubber up there and secure in place. be sure the end points down so water does not run down in the end of the hose. Water can spash up there or if you raise the hood in the rain you dont want to have water get in.
