Wiring...
Any kind souls have wiring manuals/diagrams to spare for 96 camaro (probably 93 - 96 units have similar wiring)?
I want to personally put a add-on CD changer to my stock stereo, and need to connect to both a constant and a switched power source. I have been told to run wires thru my fuse block, but what lies beneath the fuse block is all a mystery to me... Thought of splicing the stock stereo power source to connect to the changer, but was advised not to... Again, I tried not to engage pro installation... wasting $$$$$$$... But if I can't help it, i guess i have to... Thomas A. Edison - "I have not failed. I 've tried 10,000 ways that won't work." |

Re: Wiring...
there is an empty socket for each in the fuse panel. Might have to get a test light to find them.

Re: Wiring...
Run your constant right to the battery, and run your switched off your factory deck..
Or there should be an empty Ignition terminal in your fuse block (I think? third gens had it.. not totally sure about 4th) You can crimp a male blade type connector on your switched wire and plug it into there
