Warranty recall on Fuel Sending Unit..Brand New

Niissan is about to announce a Warranty Recall on the Fuel Sending unit in the area of the Fuel Tank. There is no easy way to explain this. The vehicle will begin cutting out, as in dead engine, at any speed. There is a temperature probe in the fuel tank. Yes, you read that correctly. There is a temp probe in the fuel tank, and due to corrosion of the topmost surface of the fuel tank in areas which use road salt, you may be affected. See your dealer for details. By VIN number, you may be recalled, which involves dropping the fuel tank. My truck was corrected this past week, and it is a good time to replace the fuel filter too.
