Better Gains from Stage 2 Heads/Cam or an intercooler?
Which do you guys think would give me the best gains?
I am leaning heavily towards an intercooler but still undecided. |

Re: Better Gains from Stage 2 Heads/Cam or an intercooler?
I'd go w/ the Heads/Cam package. They will improve flow and reduce kr. Just like adding the intercooler you'll be able to drop down in pulley size also.
But that will mess w/ your goal of 12's with stock cam. Real life example. For the HPP shootout I was involved in there was a stock cam'd w/ intercooler and headers gp. He couldnt touch my times and I was running cam w/ no headers and no IC. |

.The Stg2 cam/heads would cost about the same but isn't it ALOT more work to put new heads/cam on than just taking the blower off to put on an intercooler? |

I'd say cam/head install would take longer. Dont forget though w/ an intercooler install you pretty much have to remove the front bumper to install heat exchanger.
My cam install took bout 12hrs, but well worth it and I wouldnt do it any other way. |
