GS 01 questions

I just bought my 01 gs manual w/ 22,000 miles last week. I bought the extended 5 year 100,000 mile warranty for an extra 1,700, what does everyone think of the factory bumper to bumper warranty, and how does it work if you make modifications to the car (will it void anything).

I'm interested in buying an air intake filter for the car and I was wondering if the $90 ones on ebay are worth getting? Lastly should I be scared of the rims bending on normal roads? I've heard a few horror stories online about easily bent eclipse rims and it has me a little worried.

i also bought the warranty for my car and i was kinda worrying also cause i put a greddy racing clutch on my car. then my trani went out but it was covered under warranty. as long as you dont violate any detail engine work like porting or piston upgrade or whatnots itll be fine... if your talking about exhaust , intake or headers, ya know the regular street mods. then it wont. hope this helps a little
