Re: Programming keyless entry for 2000 Camaro

not off the top of my head, ill check at work tomorrow, i think you put the key in, hold down the unlock button, and cycle the key on, off, on off, on off, and the locks should lock and unlock and the trunk will pop open, then hold down the lock and unlock buttons on the key fobs, for about 12 seconsd, the doors will lock and unlock again, then do the same on the second key fob. then start the car to exit the programming mode. test them to make sure they work. you do have to do both of them at once.

now before you do this, try just standing right next to the car, and holding the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob, for again around 12 seconds, if the door lock and unlock the remote was just out of sync, and you just re-synced them. its a bit easier to do that way.

Please check for me I really would appreciate it. I bought the car with only one fob , so I ordered a second one and now I'm trying to program it.

Thanks again

I believe I've seen something to do with programming the key fob in the owner's manual. It's a sequence of cycling your key on and off and removing the radio fuse. Hope that helps!
