Lingenfelter Question??
Ok, the 427TT has hit 8's in the 1/4 while still to the eye remaining a common Vette... I was under the impression it did this w/ regular tires and pump gas? Or did it need Drag Tires and race fuel?

Re: Lingenfelter Question??
I'm pretty sure it did it on 91 octane, but I could be wrong. If it can do that on street tires, then I need some of those!

Haven't found anything on what they ran for fuel on that 8.97 Run... But I know it was definately run on slicks. (Look at some pictures of it online sometime) Too much power to not have them.

Re: Lingenfelter Question??
Well, actually it was DOT aproved street legal slicks, so it was still "streetable" still out on the fuel question though.
