head lights won't go out??????

my wife went to the movies tonight and when she came out the head lights of our 99 neon were on high beam with no key in the ignition and the switch off. any ideas?? i had too disconnect the battery to turn them off

check the high beem flash lever ma be stuck (turn singnal lever)

Just tried the signal light lever. Took it completely apart, cleaned it and tested it. Works perfect. Any other idea's? I'm fresh out of ideas and grasping at straws.
