Peugeot 406 coupe - Y2k face lift

Hi All,

I hope this is the correct place to ask this, a search in Yahoo led me here.

I'm thinking of buying a used Peugeot 406 Coupe, approx 4-7 yrs old.

What I wanted to know was that I understand the 406 coupe had a facelift around '99/'00.

Was this facelift restyling internal only or was the exterior also tweaked with? Also what where these changes?

When exactly did the face lift come about, if u r UK based then perhaps reference in terms of Registration no's.

If they are reasonable or stylish changes I can then focus towards newer models ie 4 years old.

I would appreciate any info.

It was in 1999.
I know only that they changed view of the front lights and hood.
