Recall notices

Anyone know where to access recall notices for camaros? Anyway online sites that provide this info?
How do I actually know that my vehicle will qualify?
Must my car be under warranty to qualify for recall if any?

Thanks!

Re: Recall notices

I am going to ask a dumb question..

SO if there is a TSB recall issued in 1996 for my vehicle, am i still eligible for the recall? Can I just bring it to a dealer?

Re: Recall notices

your chevy dealership should do that for ya. but yeah, if there is a recall, then your covered, its campaigns that arent covered, unless you have GMPP extended warrante.

Re: Recall notices

Recalls are free no matter if your car is ZR titled or what not. TSB's are not a recall after your warranty is up you pay for the TSB. If you PM me your vin I can check to see if you have any recalls, if you want also I can give you a list of all TSB's that apply to your car.

Re: Recall notices

like flatrater just said, he can check, in fact, any dealership can check, they type in your VIN number and the GM service history of the vehicle comes up. that tells them what service recalls are available for the car. and what campaigns are open for teh vehicle.
