1972 blazer info????

hey all, most of ya seem more about newer blazers, but im starting to get interested in buying a 1969 - 1972 K5 convertable Blazer but am looking for info, details, specs, and such on those year blazers. anybody here know any good websites or other sources of info. found a few good ones on ebay, but am looking more at a place of old blazer enthusists. thanx for any help yal might have.

Could you be more specific with your questions? I'm sure I could answer a few. I believe motors would be either the 305, 350, 6.2 diesel, and I believe there was a 6 cylinder model as well. I thik the later model ones came with 700R4 overdrive transmission that had torque converter problems...

All in all, they're good trucks. Try to avoid rusty ones, and try for fuel injection as well, you be glad when you start paying the gas bills for one.

My dad has a 72 Chevy Blazerand my boyfriend has a 72 GMC Jimmy. Both of them have 350's and full converts. The older ones didn't come with 700r4's they either had TH350 or TH400's. There were some 6 cylinder models but those usually were 2 wheel drive. You won't find one that old with fuel injection unless it has been converted. Any more ?'s let me know.
