Is the Safety Neutral Switch located in steering column or transmission for a '94 Buick Regal....3.8 L..?? Thank you very much. Needles1965 |

Usually on the tranny. On top where the cable goes into the tranny. You will see it there if it is there. good luck. the column ones are a pain.

I have never in my life seen a column mounted NTSB switch!

could someone show a picture as to where the switch is? i cant seem to find it on the column.

ON the tranny. Topside. Where the cable goes in. You will see a lot of wires attached to it. And I have only seen one on the column, that was on a very old car. I got to change it because I was a skinny kid who could get under the dash. Man that was a long time ago. Now I am a fat old man :-)

Now that I have been thinking about it maybe that wasn't a NTSB switch, it was 20+ years ago when I was about 13. I must have been changing something else. I thought was what my old man called. Sorry for any confussion. Good Luck.
