I want to try to swap a b series motor with VTEC into my 2004 civic dx with a SOHC non-vtec motor...but i don't know if there is any sort of extra VTEC wiring or linkages needed for the VTEC to kick in and work...let me know what I need to do

if the 04 is anything like the 00 or older dx (i'm not to good with the 01s + civics) to have the vtec to kick in you will need extra wiring, such as the vtec sol, vtec pressure and a knock sensor thats all i know of. other ppl might be more of a help but i was just lettin you know that there is extra wiring.
