All you dohc ZC guys out there

I'm thinking about doing this swap into my 89 Si hatch. Besides for the motor, what other parts did you need to get to make this work?

I plan to use my Si tranny so what else will I need? Does the wiring harness match up for the most part? I heard that you need to splice 2 wires into the dizzy. And yes I've done a lot of research on this swap, but everywhere always leaves me wanting more info. Thanks guys!

If your car is already an SI, then you wont need anything. My BF has an '88 std and he had to buy SI axles, PM6 ecu, radiator hoses, wire it up to MPFI, and get an Si tranny.

Only thing you'll absolutely need really is an upper radiator hose from an '84 accord.

Whoa really? I was thinking of doing this swap myself... if its just the motor... hell might be sooner than I though... What about the ECU? And this may sound like a stupid question, but they have those ZC hoods with that bump right where the cam gears go, do u need that? Or will the ZC fit no problem with the stock CRX SI hood?

Some of them fit fine, my BF's did and some of them scrub a little under the hood. You won't need an ecu if its an SI. You can use that one, but some people use the 88-89 Integra ones because of the rev limiter $hit.

Also, if your hood doesnt clear the engine, take the timing belt cover off and you'll be straight. Not the safest or smartest thing but yout gotta do what you gotta do.
