Testors Decal Making Kit

I saw the kit at a local hobbie shop and was wondering about getting it. I would like a second opinion before I blow my money on something that could be junk.

For black Sponsor Decals, it's ok

for color decals, forget it

Also several ppl said Testor one was very bad quality and disolve in water

Maybe you should order some Microscale one. Modelexpress.net have them at very low price (it's cheaper than testor) and work great (I use it)

aside from dropping serious $$$ on things like an ALPS printer etc.. is there really any way to actually make high quality (comperable to what comes with kits) waterslide decals? I doubt it.

with only black color, yes
else, no. no mater which color you want, you always need a white or silver base for the decal. Only an ALPS can do that

but for small sponsor decal, it does work (even if testor isn't the best choice)
