92 bonnie se

Hi i have a 92 se with around 170,000 mi. on her. the problem is that when i come to a stop she runs rough. and some times when i hold her steady around 30-40 mph she'll spit and sputter. i have went through 4 fuel pumps in the lastyear and a half. i have changed the plugs, wires, fuel/air filter, ecm, E-prom, crank pully/sensor and timing chain cover. i haveread about trouble with exhaust valves burning, i have that wierd egr less 3.8, but i have good compression readings on all cylinders. i am at a loss

thanks for any help in advance
Fred

Re: 92 bonnie se

check the oxygen sensor(just something I heard not real sure if it will help). If you run your car low on gas you will have fuel filter and fuel pumps problems.
