Drivers Door Keyless keypad

I just bought a 2001 Sable from a used car dealership but did not get a manual of any kind. I am trying to reset the keyless keypad on the door so I can program it to my own code. Any ideas? I have looked at some of the post on here and will try to find my factory code number. If I do find it what do I do after I punch it in, in order to set it to my own code? Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

I have a 97 Sable and here's what my manual says. I guess it'll work for a 2001:
Your new personal code will not replace the original factory code, it will add it as another code.
Select a 5 digit number.
Enter the factory code.
Within 5 seconds, press button 1/2.
Within 5 seconds pf pressing 1/2, enter your 5 digit code. You have 5 seconds after each digit in which to enter the next.
You can now use either code. The system will only remember 1 personal code at a time but will always remember the factory code.
To erase your personal code, enter the factory code and then press 1/2 within 5 seconds.
