Basic Issues with our cars.......

I've read so many things go wrong with our cars. I was wondering if you all could say what things usually always go wrong with our vehicles. Stuff on stock engines, no swaps.

Usual problems mostly involve rotor/distributor, head gaskets, timing belts, bleading the cooling system of air, and maby a few others

Re: Basic Issues with our cars.......

i have 3 4th gens.....and the only thing I've noticed is the CV Boots tend to go....especially on lowered cars.....the valves need adjusting ever 30,000 miles or so.....and they do burn oil....so run 5w30 so its a bit thicker.

Wow, I must be lucky. I've had my car for about 4 years, doubled the mileage (pushin' 300k now) and haven't had any significant problems.

Ok...this took me a while to find too...but, find the little coin box to the left of the steering wheel and take it out. Then, find your hood release lever and unbolt it from the sidewall...pull back the interior plastic and there it is...here this might help...I've changed one on my car and one on my girlfriends:

Hope that helps...

and...

Oh, and my common one is...ball joints...I've replaced so many on three honda's I've lost count.
