all of theese nice chevelles on here im wondering how many hp people can get out of their cars?

why do you keep asking question like this. you can get as much hp out of a car as you want. maybe you should be asking the question... how much money do you have? if you are as into cars as you seem to try to make people think you should already know the answer to your question anyway. you cant be an average person to have and drive a 9 second car.

yeah, how much hp you want, how much you got to spend, is pretty much the rule of thumb, dont get me wrong, you can make power on the cheap, but for most people its a money thing. to answer your question, my RS is stock with the TBI 305, making probly around 170-180hp with a catback exhaust. and the IROC has the TPI 350 with headers and flowmaster with a high flo cat, making around 260-280hp by my estamate.

If you want to hear the most hp any car we ever had was, I had a car for a day that had around 650hp. Not mine, but it felt so good in the drivers seat (40 ford coupe, blown 502bb chevy)
