Revell Civic Si Progress. Another clean build from greg.

well, ive had people compliment me on my "clean" builds. thats what im aiming to do...make a car look good, but not to ricey. so here my latest installment. A revell civic si that is painted duplicolor nighthawk black pearl. the only thing i cant decide on, is wheels. well, ill let the pics do the talking.

heres the color first. best pic i could get to capture the color. yes, its black...UNTIL, the sun hits it. then it is blue.

first wheel choice...spoon wheels. real clean, sleeper type look.

second wheel choice...everyones favorite, AVS model 5's. pretty clean, but their screaming "race me"

other pics:

edit: everyone knows how crappy my camera is...ive finally got a job and im makin well enough money to get a new cam soon, cant wait.

That paint looks great. I love that paint. I think I might have to go out and buy a bit of that.

I think the model 5's are waay too big. They make the car look like a toy. The spoon wheels go best with the car.

I agree with 86 SR5. The AVS wheels might give it a better look, but you'll have to lower the car way to much. Go with the spoon wheels. Paint them gold or something

Take the tire's off the model 5's, And replace them with the stock civic tire's. They will look alot better.

Re: Revell Civic Si Progress. Another clean build from greg.

I think it would look good to use spoon wheels and keep it black and original, paint the lug nuts a different color though. With the other wheel its too big that lowering, or even glueing the wheel straight onto the wheel wells will make the car look too tall.
But its your decision.
