'99 Mustang CObra-In Progress

This is the 1/25 Revell kit. I want to paint it the same color as a the 2000 Cobra R, and try some panel lines for the first time. I am open to other paint choices...any ideas?
The car will be curbside since I'm using the IRS and drivetrain for the '65 Conti' project. Full interior though.
I know 4-lug SVT wheels

Just when you thought I quit Datsuns...my "serious" project. Making this"

Into this!

Anyone know what kind of wheels thes are, cuz I don't.

I made this car last year, its a fun car, but I had a little trouble getting the front windshield to fit. I actually had to buy 2 extra kits just for the front windshield....I think I did use a few parts of the 2 kits to replace broken parts on the first kit...

Can't wait to see it finished. Might want to find touch up paint for the Cobra R.

Great looking datsun and the ford, yes, even if it 's american I do like it :-)

Could you tell me what kind of rims are under the ford? I m looking for similars... they do look like the celica rally kit rims...

Keep it up, and make more datsuns!

clates-THanks for the heads up on the windshield!
Tonio-Those rims were tossed into a 510 kit a friend gave me. Sparco made rims? I though they only made seats
Bigfrit, sk8ter-You are right, these are the rims/tires from the 1/24 Maisto die-cast SVT Focus. The sam eone I used Tomm Kaira wheels on to replicate my 1:1 SVTF!

Hono-Just buy the die-cast and gank the rims for your Cobra R...then send the car to me

The four-lugs look good, but I'd rather see the Cobra R wheels out of the Tamiya SVT Cobra R Mustang kit under that Mustang's corners.

But that's just my opinion. You've got a great approach so far and I'm not arguing.

Re: '99 Mustang CObra-In Progress

It's the older Cobra R. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM24156

Not like the new one. Wish they made a new one

675 the cobra looks good. I want to see more of the datsun though.
