cold air intake??

I have a 2004 alero with the 2.2L ecotec motor and 5 speed tranny. I was wondering if anyone heard of a company making a cold air intake for my car.

Thanks in advance.

Re: cold air intake??

I was told that there aren't many cold-air intakes made for he alero due to the vehicle being discontinued. I have an 2001 2.4L and found that the 2.4 in a cav or sunfire is basically the identical engine therefore was able to order an intake for either or and it bolted right on with no problems. A GM tech also mentioned to me that other mechanical performance parts may be used from the cav or sunfire as long as the engine and in some cases the year are identical to yours.
