V8 engine Swap into Sonoma / S-10

How much work is involved in mounting a V8, probably something like a 350 or bigger, into an s-10 or Sonoma? will it take alot of custom work? or has it been done alot - will i be able to find kits to perform the task?

Re: V8 engine Swap into Sonoma / S-10

if you want to use a kit, check out www.customconversions.com by jaguars that run. These guys have the best info and parts.
I installed my 350 without a kit and had to do some fabricating (new trans mount, shorten driveshaft, motor mounts, etc.) It cost me about $2000.00 (motor and trans included) to install mine. I love it on the dragstrip, but I can't seem to stay off the gas pedal on the street. Tons and tons of fun !!!
