Post Talon Smoking/Backfire

I am new to the DSM club so I do not know. I have a 90 TSi and while driving, it backfired and started smoking. However, it mainly smokes when I am at a stop light or just idoling. When I am moving alone, I was told that it does not smoke. Can anyone help with the diagnosis.
It has the lower mas honeycone removed, new plugs and wires and a 3in intake pipe with K&N filter. When I pulled the plugs, all were orangy-brown, gap set at .32 degrees 7es plugs always running Chevron 93 octane.

Re: Talon Smoking/Backfire

The smoke is a bluish white smoke and it often backfires whenever I lift off the accelerator without depressing the clutch first. I does not stumble nor stutter.
